It's your favourite time of year! Freshers' Week 2014 is just around the corner. Freshers' Week is jam-packed full of events, so you'll never be bored. This year we will be brining you incredible events such as speed meetings, live music from Neon Jungle & Public Service Broadcasting, guest apprearances from Game of Thrones Hodor & Gaz from Geordie Shore plus much more! Planning on partying hard over Freshers? We are launching a Freshers Detox campaign at the end of Freshers' Week for those of you who need a little rejuvenation after a solid week of late nights and partying over the Freshers' period. With free gym, pool and club access, Laughter Yoga, Smoothy Bikes & special healthy drink promos in The Priory, it's a sure way to start semester 1 on a healthy foot!
This year, USSA is launching a brand new series of weekly nights and one-off events that are not to be missed! Our Big Bad Monday Quiz will get the brain cells going at the start of the week. You could walk away with £200! Cash running a bit low after the weekend? Don’t let that hold you back; our brand new Sk!nt Tuesdays will go easy on your pocket.
As a student at Strathclyde University, you automatically become a member of the USSA (University of Strathclyde Students' Association) AKA the Union. We are independent of, but work closely with, the University of Strathclyde. Our activities are directed by our members (like you!)
In a nutshell -we're here to provide you with free support and advice throughout your time at university. We also work to make opportunities for you, and ALL the profits from our commercial activities go back into services for our members!
