Equality and Diversity Committee

The Equality and Diversity Committee exists to represent the views of students who face opression and are traditionally under represented in decision making. The Committee has the power to propose policy, plan campaigns and has reponsiblity for the Equal Opportunities policy. The Commitee also serves to create dialogue between the various liberation groups on campus.

Only the two elected reps from each liberation group can vote but observers from liberation groups are welcome to attend and contribute to discussions.

All students can propose a policy or campaign idea using our online MotionMaker. If the motion is relevant to Equality and Diversity Committee it will be refered there.

Please find the Agendas and Minutes for this year's Equality and Diversity Committee. If you have any questions please contact the Vice President Diversity, Raj Jeyaraj  on ussa.vpd@strath.ac.uk.
