The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Society is an exciting group within Strathclyde University. We welcome all students, staff and union members who are part of or are interested in supporting the LGBT community.
Campaigning
This year we will be campaigning on behalf of LGBT rights and equality for all, including campaigning for equal marriage rights in Scotland and on behalf of LGBT Prisoners of Conscience. We will be offering confidential support and advice for anyone, we are trained by ASK in dealing with LGBT issues and we work alongside Stonewall, HIV Scotland, LGBT Youth Scotland and other organisations dedicated to helping LGBT individuals.
Drop-in
We will also be offering an informal drop-in session for any student looking for advice, support or for anyone who just wants to chat. More information on this will be available at our Welcome Night and onthe website.
When & where?
We meet every Wednesday at 7.30pm in the Lounge on Level 5 of the Union.
