Community Volunteering Opportunities

Strathclyde Students are encouraged to contribute and bring value to communities which will increase their personal experiences, develop skills and encourage a sense of civic responsibility and inclusion. The opportunities on offer are diverse, wide ranging and constantly increasing.

Marie Curie Helper

If you want to make a difference to the lives of people living with a terminal illness, and are looking to give a few hours a week to offer companionship and support, becoming a Marie Curie Helper might be just right for you.

Be part of the volunteer team which provides somewhere warm and safe for destitute asylum seeker men to stay overnight between 8pm to 8am. Volunteer once a week, fortnight or month.
