Room Bookings

We can provide bespoke packages tailored to you or your organisation’s needs. Our city centre venue is an excellent location for conferences, fairs, training, meetings, parties and other evening events.

We offer ultimate flexibility from room hire by the hour to events running over a number of days. Choose from a number of spaces; from small intimate meeting rooms, to large lecture theatre-style spaces.

We have our own in-house caterers and offer bespoke catering packages to suit any event and budget!

Foyer Stalls

Stalls can be hired in our busy foyer all-year round. In this area there is an average footfall of 2,000 students on a weekday. This is an ideal location to promote your products and services to students as on entering the Union building, all students must pass through the foyer to access the rest of the building by lift or stairs.

Freshers' Fairs

Every year USSA holds a series of busy fairs for Freshers' students. We can offer the opportunity to meet Strathclyde students face-to-face to promote your products and services to the student market.

Private Functions

As well as our meeting rooms we operate six serviced outlets within the Union building. We can provide a large selection of refreshments including fully-functioning bar facilities, snacks, tea and coffee, and dinner menus. All of these services can be provided with staff support, audio visual equipment hire and accommodation support.
