Improve your rep! Be a class rep…
Well let’s be frank - being a rep looks great on your CV – it gives you the chance to build up your communication skills, gain confidence speaking in public and show you can get changes past the univ ersity bureaucracy. It also shows your achievements aren’t just academic – something employers are definitely looking for!
The Students’ Association are here to help you fulfil your role as a Class Rep as well as develop new skills and tackle the challenges you may face a long the way. You will get the chance to become a Class Rep at the first class meeting of the year in September/October and the Association offers full training and support. Class Reps also are invited to participate in Student Congress and other events throughout the year.
