Thanks to all those who attended. It was the best ever Strathclyde Student Congress! We are looking forward to seeing you at Christmas Catch Up In December.
Check out the photos and clips from this year's Congress
Student Congress is back and better than ever before. Focusing on the most important aspect of Congress - YOU!
This year Student Congress is earlier in the academic year –in October rather than March – to minimise disruptions to your studies. Plus you still will get access to key decision makers like Principal Jim McDonald, discuss hot topics and contribute your thoughts on what direction the University and the Students' Association should take this year. You can find the full agenda here.
This year’s Congress will bring back the popular Forum and Decision Time plus Congress attendees will get the chance to run for and elect their Faculty Reps (What is a Faculty Rep? Find out more here).
- Student Congress is an invite only event. Don’t worry though, any USSA registered Class Reps are invited (What is a Class Rep and how do you
become one? Find out more here). - Congress is a full day conference style event with attendees receiving an excused absence from the Principal.
- The Principal will also be buying Congress participants lunch!
- Free Student Rep hoodies and other goodies brought to you by the Students' Association.
Past Congress discussions have had direct influence in shaping policies at the university and affecting change. Check out the outcomes from previous years.
