USSA has teamed up with the University of Strathclyde Careers Service & Bright Futures to create Employability Week.
We’ll be hosting a number of events including opportunities to network with top name employers, a workshop on how to get the best graduate job delivered by Bright Futures, a chance to earn up to £5000 to start your very own social enterprise and we’re bringing in past intern participants for a Q&A session so you can find out the best ways to go about applying for summer programmes and what they involve.

Networking Event - Monday 20th February - 5.30pm
Come along to our networking event with employers from all sectors providing you with information on Internship opportunities and graduate recruitment programmes. This is a fantastic chance to ask the vital questions before you make your big decisions. Companies taking part include ACCA, Accenture, Centrica, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, IBM, PWC, and Rolls-Royce.
How to get the best graduate Job - Tuesday 21st February - 5.30pm
Bright Futures presents a one hour workshop aimed at identifying and developing key desirable skills in any graduate job market today. This will provide you with the knowledge to articulate your skills and experiences effectively to ensure your CV is all that it can be. It will leave you fully equipped with the know-how to tackle assessment centres and interview situations, giving you a cutting edge when applying for graduate jobs.
Do you have an idea and the drive to follow it up and make a positive impact on society? USSA have teamed up with UNLTD who offer up to £5,000 to help budding social entrepreneurs take those first steps in getting Social Enterprises off the ground and make ideas a reality, all you have to do is pitch it to our dragons in their lair on 22nd February 2012.

We're offering the opportunity to come and question students and alumni who have participated in Internship programmes. Find out how they went about applying, what they believe made them stand out and how they have developed as a result of spending this time in a professional working environment.
