Who are we?
Here at Envirosoc we're the University of Strathclyde's environmental and ethical committee. We aim to promote environmental and ethical issues within the student's union and university community, and to also influence environmental and ethical policy.
What do we do?
This year we've a number of great activities lined up:
- Awareness-raising campaigns, events and plenty community engagement projects!
- Regular meetings where members can share their views and get involved in matters close to their own hearts.
- Review and hopefully influence the union's policy regarding environmental and ethical issues
- Channel our issues of concern to the appropriate members of Strathclyde union and the University Environmental and Social Responsibility Working Group (ESRWG)
How can I get involved?
Look out for us at Freshers Week! We'll have a stall at the fair on Wednesday. Membership of Envirosoc is open to all members of the Student's Union.
We'll soon be looking for some committee members to help things run smoothly - all will be revealed at our first meetings!
