Labour Club

The Strathclyde University Labour Club is a club where members can come along and get involved or even just find out more about the Labour Party. We are a club devoted to promoting Labour values such as equality through having guest speakers, debates, campaigns and nights out.

We are affiliated to Scottish Labour Students which gives members a chance to campaign for the Party at election time and get involved with the ideas which the party takes on and the way it works.

You don't have to be a member of the party to come along. We welcome people who are interested in what we stand for, although we encourage all members to join the party for £1.

The club is a great way to engage with politics and also just make new friends. We are a relaxed and friendly group who try our hardest to make any new member feel welcome.

You can email us at strathlabstudents@gmail.com or find our twitter at http://twitter.com/strathlabclub. We also have a blog at http://strathlabstudents.wordpress.com/

Aims & Objectives:

1 -  To facilitate political discussion amongst students, specificially surrounding the Labour Party

2 - To engage with all students in the university through our campaign activity
