Strathclyde Students for Malawi is a students society of the charitable organisation 'Students for Malawi'. The main aims of the society are to fundraise for amazing projects in Malawi, raise awareness and run campaignsand to give students the chance to take part in the 'Students for Malawi' International Volunteer programme.
Through 'Students for Malawi' we will be fundraising for the following groups;
STEKA
Kenyawi Kids
Open Arms Malawi
Making Wonders
As well as choosing our own charity to support, 2011/2 we have supported Mary's Meals

Aims & Objectives of Students for Malawi:
To enhance and strengthen the historically partnership between Scotland and Malawi, more specifically between the University of Malawi and the university of Strathclyde.
To advance learning and knowledge by teaching, research and knowledge exchange between Scotland and Malawi.
To increase food security, income, assets and employment & education for poor and marginalised people To promote basic human rights and gender equality
