An opportunity for students to: 

 

·         Gain a creative and technical insight into aircraft design, through calculations and optimisation.

 ·         Get first-hand experience of building an aircraft.

 ·         Take part in the annual BMFA/BAE Systems Heavy Lift Challenge, held each June at the Yorkshire Air Museum and Elvington Airfield.
