Out and proud? An insight into Parliament, politics and LGBT+ matters

On 25th February, as a part of LGBT History Month, visit the McCance building for a stimulating insight into LGBT+ matters in the UK and Scottish Parliaments. You will hear the experiences and motivations of an LGBT+ Parliamentarian, what it is like to debate and legislate on LGBT+ issues, and the ways in which the UK Parliament actively and proudly supports LGBT+ Parliamentarians and staff.   • Leanne Smith: ParliOUT network member and an Alumni of the Stonewall Young Leadership Programme
  • Dr Mark Shephard: Senior Lecturer in Politics at the University of Strathclyde (Event Chair)
