Nightline is a confidential listening and information service for students of Glasgow Caledonian and Strathclyde Universities. It is a completely anonymous service, run by trained student volunteers. You can reach Nightline either by telephone, online chat and now by text message too!

If you have something on your mind - if you're worried or stressed about university, have a personal problem, or anything else at all - Nightline is here to listen. We provide an impartial and non-judgemental listening service, and we will never direct you to a particular course of action. We'll listen, not lecture.

We can also provide you with infomation. Whether you need to know something about university, require access to contacts or services of any kind, if you're lost and need directions, or even if you just want the number of a takeaway or taxi service, we'll do our best to help you.

Nightline is open 7pm-7am Monday to Friday during term time.  So someone is available for you to chat to even if it is the middle of the night.

If you would like to be part of Nightline you can fill in a volunteer application online!

We are also looking for students who are interested in advertising and publicity to help get the word out aross campus about the service. This would take up no more than a couple of hours a month, so if you're interested in finding out more, visit www.scnightline.com or email ussa.vpda@strath.ac.uk!

Nightline is a confidential support and information service provided by both Strathclyde and Glasgow Caledonian Students’ Unions, open 7pm - 7am Monday - Friday during term-time.
