Finding a GP

While at University it is inevitable that you will feel under the weather or suffer from some kind of illness. Many of you will be living at home and will already have a GP, but for those of you who are new to the city (or country!), you must register with a local doctor, near to your accommodation.  Ask will be pleased to help students find the GP with whom they should register and Student Health will also be able to help with this.
When students move about or leave the Glasgow area they should re-register again with a doctor near to their address. This is important as it frees the doctors' list for new incoming students to be able to register with a nearby GP.
