Overview

For all students who are studying or interested in journalism, which will enable them to publish their own journalism and to access advice from professional journalists first hand, in order to network with the media at Strathclyde.

  • To hold monthly meetings where professionals/ journalists working ion the media will come and give a talk, followed by a question and answers session with the members.
  • To set up a website for the society where member's own journalism will be published as well as reports in the monthly meetings which can be discussed in a forum on the website.
  • Will hold one night out for the society at the end of the academic year.
  • To become a useful resource for journalistic study and to help members produce and publish their own journalism.
  • To create at least one prize for member's own journalism, which will be judged by professional journalists.
  • To act as a link to the Strathclyde Telegraph.
