Overview

Strathclyde University Renewable Energy (SURE) is a new student/staff scoiety that aims to; have fortnightly meetings; invite speakers; and to provide a forum for exchanging ideas and knowledge related to promoting renewable energy.

  • Hold fortnightly meetings;
  • Invite speakers who have experience or knowledge of installing, designing or promoting renewable energy systems;
  • Have trips to local renewable enegy system installations;
  • Promote renewable energy awareness on campaigns i.e poster campaign, lobbying, petitions and emailing;
  • Liaise with other organisations that have a similar remit of promoting renewable energy;
  • Potentially promote renewable energy uptake outwith the campus.
