International Students Committee

There is a thriving International community at Strathclyde University, with students travelling from all corners of the world to study here. At the Union it is one of our goals to ensure that all International Students are represented, are made to feel welcome, and are catered for in the events and services we provide.

In order to do this, we need international students willing to serve as representatives by joining the International Students Committee.

This committee's purpose is to serve as a gathering of international student points of view, and is a constitutional part of the Student Representative Council which governs the Union. It is represented on SRC by an International Students Convenor, and of course international students are also welcome to stand for SRC themselves.

If you are interested in joining the Committee, please contact the International Students Convenor on international@theunion.strath.ac.uk or in standing for SRC, please contact the Deputy President at deputypresident@theunion.strath.ac.uk

Even if you do not wish to hold a position of responsibility, we welcome your involvement as a voice and a point of view. If interested in taking part in discussion of International student issues, you can join this group by mailing international@theunion.strath.ac.uk.
