Members are responsible for their own behaviour and the behaviour of their guests while in the building. If you, or your guests, break any of the rules or policies of the Association, you may be charged. If so, you will have to attend a meeting of the Discipline Committee at which, if found guilty, you can be formally warned, fined or banned from the building and Union membership for a set time.
Offences likely to incur a charge include underage drinking, forgery of student cards, vandalism, abusive behaviour and fighting.
The Discipline Code can be found in Schedule 2 of our Constitution which can be found here.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask our Deputy President, deputypresident@theunion.strath.ac.uk.
