If you were a registered student at Strathclyde for at least one semester, you can become a life member of the Union. Life Membership costs a one off charge of £20 and has a number of benefits, including access to all the Union's facilities and the ability to sign in up to 4 guests.
A £5 administration charge will be required for any replacement cards.

If you are studying a course at Strathclyde that is not a degree or diploma course (eg an evening or summer school course), you are eligible for Associate Membership of the Union. Associate Membership gives you full access to the Union's facilities.
To get associate membership, simply come up and see Norma in the PA's office on Level 10 of the Union, bringing with you a copy of the letter confirming your registration on the course and a passport photo. Any questions, contact Norma on ndinning@theunion.strath.ac.uk
If you are a student at another university or FE college, it is likely that your Union has a reciprocal membership agreement with Strathclyde. This means that you will be able to access Strathclyde Union on production of your student card. You may also be able to sign in guests, though this depends on the agreement your Union has with ours. To check how many guests you can sign in, contact deputypresident@theunion.strath.ac.uk. For a guide, students at Glasgow Caley and Glasgow can sign in 4 guests, students at the Glasgow FE colleges can sign in 2.
