That was the week that was. And what a week it was!
Freshers' Week 2007 was the best at Strathclyde for a number of years. Incidentally that also means by default that it was the best in Scotland too! Thanks to everyone who came along to absolutely anything whether it was the clubs or sports fair, the international welcome, the Freshers' Fairground, the Exec Welcome or any of the massive and varied evening entertainments that went on throughout the week. Hopefully all of you met new people, made new friends, saw great bands and had a great time.
Everyone has their own memories of the week. Some of our highlights included singing to a room without any music at Headphone Disco, watching Freshers being hypnotised, laughing our stinking four day-old socks off at some top comedy, signing up to as many clubs and societies as we could and dancing like idiots to Vengaboys.
Don't forget your Gold Card still gets you into a host of nights and events such as 12 Hour Tuesdays, Thursday's Six O'Clock Comedy Club and Friday's Criminal Records as well as discounts on tickets for the Halloween All-nighter on Wednesday 31st October.

We hope you had equally as good a time. If you have any comments, queries, suggestions or even complaints about Freshers' Week 2007 then let us know by contacting the Vice President of Operational & Commercial Services, Lawrence West, at vpocs@theunion.strath.ac.uk
