ROCK NIGHT

With Rock Radio's Tom Russell & Ciaran O'Toole

Saturday 26th April saw ROCK RADIO DJs Tom Russell & Ciaran O'Toole bring their blend of classic and modern rock to the Barony Bar for the Union's first Rock Night. Feedback on the night and since has been great so keep your eyes peeled for Rock Night II later in the year.  

St Patrick's Night

Roy Walker joined hundreds of you guys to celebrate the Irish patron saint and all things green and guinnessy. Unfortunately we don't have any pictures of the night but if you then let us know and we'll try to use one or two of them to show the mayhem that ensued.

Emergency Services Night

with Jones from Police Academy

Tuesday 26th February was Emergency Services Night and the Barony Bar played host to Michael Winslow aka Jones from Police Academy, the guy who does the noises with his mouth. Hundreds of you turned up, many wearing your uniform of choice, and were treated to something a bit special from Michael.

One of the highlights of the night was Michael's Star Wars sound effects stand up routine. Take a look!

Christmas All-Nighter 2007

This year's Christmas All-nighter was twice as big as last year's and was an absolutely manic night. Calvin Harris had Vertigo jumping around like was Acceptable In The 80s while Dave Pearce blew our minds (and our speakers) in Barony. Well done to the 406 people who made it through to 8am! Even better than Halloween's crew.

Halloween All-Nighter 2007

Congratulations to everyone who made it right the way through until 7am! Unfortunately our photographers didn't but they did get around the Union earlier on to take pics of the weird and the wacky (yeah, that's you guys).
