Transition Strathclyde

Transition Strathclyde WebsiteTransition Strathclyde is a community based environmental project based within the students' union. Funded by the Climate Challenge Fund, the project researched the "lifestyle" carbon footprint of staff and students at the university - this is the impact associated with each individual's behaviour and lifestyle choices rather than emissions from the university's buildings and services. The research identified areas of home energy and sustainable transport as the biggest challenges at Strathclyde, and the information has been used to develop the best possible carbon cutting environmental projects for the coming academic year.
